The Shiny Car Concept

The Car of Light from designer Jong Won Lee can be the coolest solar car concept that I have ever seen. Inspired by the effects of light on human senses and the shape of objects, the vehicle features a roof-mounted solar panel and a sun roof that allows for natural light during the day and artificial illumination after dark. The zero-emission concept is powered by electric motors and the entire design is informed by the sun. The interior and exterior of the vehicle are inspired by the rapping style of ancient Egypt’s mummy wrapping. This wrapping of the dead comes originally from the Sun God Ra, who took quite a bit of his/her design sensibilities from the daylight hitting the world. Then there’s the wave feel of the vehicle, taken from the kinetic wave line of a river surface. Kind of a smooth sailor through the powerfully lit streets.

BMW Flash – Another Eye

BMW X9 concept was well received on the net earlier this year. Khalfi Oussama, the Tunisian designer behind the concept, has come up with another car concept namely BMW Flash. The new concept is inspired by BMW M6, and is designed with sport look and a large front. The sports car can have any of the V8, V10 or V12 engines according to the power requirement of the rider. Knight by Iranian designer Behzad Hormoz is a next-gen sports car with a lightweight body crafted out of aluminum. The one-seat car has a mid engine that supplemented by electric drive, helping it generate a whopping 550hp of power. The roof has been made from special glass to help driver enjoy the environment he drives in. The concept’s excellent aerodynamics imbibed in its striking design with sharp and curvy looks seems set to pose a challenge to supreme cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston martin.
